Client Experiences

We chose Spotlight to build a sunroom addition to our cottage in Buckhorn, and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Matt managed the overall processed transparently and professionally. We always felt in the loop and confident everything was under control, as we were often not in the area as the build was taking place. Their project management software is a great tool to follow the process. We also really appreciated the quoting process. Not once was I ever scared the costs would run out of control! The way they approach that is 10/10. And the employees who were on-site building were fantastic. Polite, respectful, and friendly the whole time. And of course, extremely skilled in their trades. It was the most stress-free construction project I've ever undertaken and I couldn't recommend them more!

After a fire in our home, we took the opportunity to make some changes. So we needed a firm that could handle both restoration and renovation. We interviewed several firms and choosing Spotlight Home and Lifestyle was easy. At our first meeting with Garnet Northey, we shared our wish list, and were impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and efforts to determine what was most important to us. After all, he said, it’s our home and we are the ones who have to be happy. This philosophy continued during the entire project. Our experience with every person on our Spotlight team was excellent. Everyone working on our project was always available to answer our questions, provide us with helpful advice, and keep us updated as work progressed. Every promise was kept. All work was done to the highest level. And now…we are already talking about the next project Spotlight can handle for

If I could I'd leave 10 stars! Spotlight Home & Lifestyle gutted and completely renovated our basement to transform it in to my soap studio and their work is phenomenal. The whole work crew was extremely professional, clean and worked hard. They completed the job in our time frame and worked hard to make sure our vision came to life. Now I walk into my basement/studio and feel so fortunate and blessed to have everything I envisioned for years come to life. We highly recommend Spotlight for anyone looking for renovation work! Spotlight is a company that completely prides on their work and ensure it is done to their standards and the home owners standards. We really appreciated that after dealing with other companies that just focused on getting the job done as fast as possible and not doing the job properly. It was a breath of fresh air with this company and we will be returning customers!

Last year we made the decision to move from the city and turn the cottage we had owned for 20 years into our full time home. We initially selected Spotlight Home and Lifestyle to handle the renovation based on Matt's clear communication style and processes. We knew what we were getting into based on the detailed contract and transparent change order process. What delighted us in the end was the dedicated team who worked on our home and the utter quality and attention to detail in their work. We couldn't be happier with the result.
